New Zealand won the first women’s cricket medal awarded at the Commonwealth Games as they comfortably beat England to bronze at Edgbaston.
The White Ferns needed less than 12 overs to reach their goal of 111 after hosts England were restricted to 110-9 from 20 overs.
Captain Sophie Devine went on to lead with an unbeaten score of 51 as the Kiwi raced back to losing just two wickets.
Australia favorites now face India for the gold medal at 17:00 GMT.
