Britney Spears took to social media Saturday night to respond to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s latest exclusive with daily Mail. In a series of interviews with Daphne Barrack scheduled to air on ITV News later this week, Federline talks about the pop star and her relationship with their two sons.
Federline claimed that their two children, 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden, “have decided they don’t see her at the moment”. Federline also said the boys “made a decision” to skip Spears’ wedding earlier this year to long-term boyfriend Sam Asgari.
Federline and Spears married in 2004 before filing for divorce in 2007.

On Saturday, Spears wrote on Instagram of her story: “It saddens me to hear that my ex has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children…As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone.”

Asgari claimed, via Instagram Story, that Federline’s goal was to “discredit” Spears and criticized Federline for standing by while she was under guardianship.
Asgari wrote, “His character was revealed by agreeing to a 13-year CSHip scholarship and his loyalty to Jimmy indicates his approval at the time he was conceived as well…anyone who agrees to it is wrong or benefits from it in some way.”
Follow Asgari with another post, citing Will Smith’s infamous follow-up to the Oscar slap. “I wish him well and hope he has a more positive outlook in the future for the benefit of all involved. But for now: keep my wife’s name… out of your mouth.”
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Federline said Spears’ guardianship “saved” her and claimed he “apologised” to his children for the nude photos Spears posted on social media after her tenure ended.
“I’m trying to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she’s trying to express herself. “But that doesn’t detract from the fact what he’s doing to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels when you’re a teenager having to go to high school,” Federline said.
Spears, Asghari and Federline representatives did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
