Bears wide receiver N’Keal Harry suffered a high ankle sprain during Saturday’s training and will meet with a specialist to find out how long he’s been outside, According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Harry was twisted by full-back Nicolas Moreau after receiving a pass from the screen during the team’s training. He couldn’t put any weight on his ankle when he left the field.
Bears coach Matt Eberlus did not elaborate on the injury when he spoke to reporters after training on Saturday.
“I just saw him come down.” Eberflus said. “I’ve seen the play and I don’t know much from there. We’ll obviously do the evaluation and then once I get that we can get it back to you. And if the situation is longer, we’ll let you know what it is. If it’s day in and day out, we’ll say that too.”
Harry was traded from the Patriots to the Bears earlier this season, sending Chicago 2023 in the seventh inning to New England in exchange for a previous first-round pick.

Harry was never able to make an appearance with the Patriots, scoring just 57 receptions for 598 yards and four touchdowns over his three seasons with the team.
Harry was looking forward to a fresh start with the Bears.
“It just feels right to me,” Harry told reporters in late July. “On entering the building, even when I entered the building, I felt a lot of good vibes. Everyone here is excited. I am looking forward to the season and it is just a reset for me. A good reset.”
