On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Inside Politics,” Senator John Hickenlooper (D-CO) argued that President Joe Biden’s failure to take credit for his legislative accomplishments is “kind of economical.” Where “we have the most jobs and the lowest unemployment in 50 years” and yet “people are thinking their hands”.
“I think President Biden deserves credit for taking the time,” Hickenlooper said. “Once again, I have a tremendous sense of urgency about climate change. And I mean, this effort to save the climate is long overdue. Senators 50/50 to consider – if you look at all the things he’s done, the bipartisan infrastructure bill, the PACT bill I just passed in the last week, I’ve been to all of these major initiatives, some bipartisan, some not, but Mostly bipartisan, this is — the first two years with 50/50, people — it’s kind of an economy. We have the most jobs and the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years, people are — the market is going down and people are losing their hands, people look at President Biden and say, OK Why didn’t you do it faster?”
