The number of border-crossers and illegal aliens that jurisdictions such as Washington, D.C. and New York City have had to absorb pales in comparison to the standards experienced by American frontier communities.
Since April, for example, Abbott has sent more than 6,200 border-crossers and illegal aliens to Washington, D.C., and Ducey has sent about 1,000 people since May. Compare that figure roughly 7,200 to the 7,100 cross-border and illegal aliens who flood US border communities every day for months as a result of Biden’s “catch and release” agenda.
This process has turned the US-Mexico border into a border crossing checkpoint for illegal aliens where they are arrested, briefly detained and then sent on their way with work permits, and sometimes cell phones, to American communities.
Soon, the Biden administration will entice foreign nationals to make the often lethal trip to the southern border by providing government-issued identification cards so they can travel more freely throughout the inner United States and access public benefits.
From February 2021 to May 2022, the Biden administration released more than one million border-crossers and illegal aliens into the United States. The administration has yet to reveal how many were released in June and July.
