  • To mirror your Android screen, you will need a Chromecast or other compatible device.
  • If you have a third-party app like Tenorshare, you can mirror your Android screen to your Mac or PC as well.
  • As you mirror the screen on your Android device, anything you do on the phone will appear on the other screen.

Over the past decade, phones have gotten bigger and bigger. But if you’re trying to show off a new app or a great video, nothing beats projecting your Android device’s screen onto a TV or monitor.

There are a few different ways to mirror your Android screen, depending on the type of screen you’re trying to use. Here’s what you need to know.

How to view Android device mirroring on a TV or computer screen

This is just official Way to mirror Android screen. To do this, you’ll need a TV or computer monitor, the Google Home app, and Google Chromecast – or a TV/monitor with Chromecast built in. This includes the Google Nest Hub, which has a screen.

First, set up your TV/Monitor and Chromecast. Connect your Chromecast to one of the display’s HDMI ports and set it up using your Android phone. You will need to download Google Home app to do this.

Once you set up your Chromecast, you can start screen mirroring. Make sure your Chromecast and Android stay on the same Wi-Fi connection.

On your Android phone, swipe down to open the notification screen, then swipe down again to reveal the quick options menu. Go to the second page of options, you will find an option titled screen cast – If you don’t see it, tap pencil icon at the bottom left and select it from the list of possible quick options.

Turn on Screen Cast and choose your casting device.

Your Android screen should appear on the TV or screen your Chromecast is using in a moment. Everything you do on Android will be mirrored directly to your Chromecast, usually with half a second delay.

There will be a slight delay in broadcasting.

When you want to end your screen mirroring session, just go back to the quick options menu and tap screen cast again and then after that Disconnect.

How to View Android Device Mirroring on Mac or PC

Normally, you can’t mirror your Android screen to a PC – you need a blank screen for your Chromecast to take over. But if you download a third-party app and slightly tweak your Android settings, you can turn your PC into another mirror.

This app mirrors your Android device screen completely on your PC, and lets you control it using your mouse and keyboard. You can download and use it for free, but you can purchase a subscription to unlock new features.

Next, we need to enable USB debugging on your Android device. This option allows your Android device to interact with the application on your computer.

Open the Settings app and scroll down to tap about the phone. At the bottom of this page, you will see an option called complete the number. Click on this seven timesthen enter your phone’s PIN.

Go back to the Settings menu and tap Systemthen scroll to select Developer Options. Scroll down to revision and switch USB debugging.

Activate flash tracking.

Once you have that running, connect your Android device to your computer using a USB cable. When a pop-up appears on your Android device asking if you want to allow USB debugging, tap Allow.

In a few moments, your Android screen should appear on your computer screen. If you are using the free version of Tenorshare, there will be a watermark on the inverted image.

You can use the bar on the side of the mirror image to take screenshots and turn off your phone screen so that only the mirror is visible.

When you want to disconnect, close the mirroring window and disconnect your Android device.
