Explorer makes history on busy day of spaceflight

Four missiles were launched from the ground on Thursday. Among them was an Atlas 5 rocket from the United Launch Alliance carrying a missile warning satellite into orbit for the Space Force. Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin launched six people briefly in space, including Vanessa O’Brien, the first woman to complete the Explorers Extreme Trifecta trilogy.
